This is way off topic, but if anyone out there owns the Lord of the Rings 4 cd extended set, please answer me this! On the 1st cd at about 54 min. and 20 sec. the camera turns to Frodo. Is there an audio problem in these cd's or does Frodo or the Wraith actually fart? His eyes role back in disgust, but I think thats because the ring is getting to him again. I hear a fart people! And this isn't the only dvd I've heard it on. If this is an audio prob. how freakin' hilarious!

It's not on the VHS tape. He's takin'bout the extended version (4 DVD set). Where's Amber? She'll know the answer to this.

I haven't checked it out yet. But I'm a huge LOTR fan. Is it the part in the road. Probably not since you metioned a Wraith and that comes after they fall on the road. But the in the comentary Lij admits to passing gas when they fell on the road... so yeah I'll just have to check that out, because I really do have nothing better to do. (that wasn't sarcastic either)

No, it's not there. His eyes are rolling back because of the power of the Ring and such. Though, I do have to admit that he looks sort of constipated there... or whenever the Ring is taking him over.

Awww man, false alarm. I took my DVD over to a friends house and the sound was gone. The audio on my TV or player must be different :( Sorry for the wild goose chase! It was funny though....the only time in the whole thing that I've heard a noise so far, and it was in just the right place!

I haven't heard that before... I'll have to go check it out. Knowing how crazy and fun the cast was, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fart, but I think it may just be that all the sound in that scene just gets jumbled together so it sounds rumbley... kinda like a fart. And Frodo's eyes do roll back because of the ring. But, I still have to check my DVD and see if I can hear anything... wow that would be so funny...lol.
