Sara Watkins sent me an E-mail! How cool!

Since Sara's birthday was yesterday, I e-mailed her a note that said : Dear Sara, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday, Sara, so....Happy Birthday, Sara! Thanks for reading, Ashley. For the first time ever, she e-mailed me back and she said Ha ha! thanks Ashley! She also siad that she had a barbeque and a bonfire yesterday. She basically said she had a really fun time. So cool!!!party

yeah i have got emails from her before also!! she is sooooo sweet!!! plus i think that she is the only person that is EVER on the computer!! LOL oh well, that doesn't mean that we don't love chris and sean :-) but thats really kewl!!

Just a reminder,

Nickel Creek is made up of 3 awesome individuals that can only answer so many emails. When you send a note to NC, make sure you think about that before you write you letters. The less people that write unnessacary emails, the more serious emails can be read and replied to.

When I e-mailed the contact at the website back in December I got a response as well, quite a pleasant surprise. One thing I love about country and bluegrass and artists is that I have yet to encounter one who hasn't been more than willing to talk to or sign an autograph for a fan. Kind of amazing when you consider what their schedules must be like.

Sara has e-mail me quite a few times before. She is so sweet to do it for anyone. I can only imagine what kind of schedule she is on, but to make time to brighten someone's day like that is so nice. She truly is a sweetheart. I have also gotten e-mails from Chris' mom. She is nice to answer things when Sara can't if they are on the road or whatever. I swear that anyone that has anything that personally connects to that band is so nice. :)

I just wanted to get on and say that, the more people find out that people with ties to NC, or the artists themselves reply, then more people will try to get a hold of them, which means less contact from them to us... but with that out of the way, I can now say that it is an awesome thing to know they actually care about us enough to talk to us... and that they haven't let their fame get to them, it is a great attribute for them to have, which will only further their success and fanbase
