I think NC should do a tribute album

I think they should do a tribute album to Elliott Smith. I know he inspired them greatly, and it would be a way of thanking him by playing his songs. Chris brings a new life to Elliott Smith's songs with his mandolin.

Yea...That would be a good project for them...but the only thing is...think about how many other CDs they're working on right now...So I dunno how quickly it'd get done...But yea, it's a great idea.

They did tributes last night at the Tallahassee concert, and it was very touching. I only recently read some of Elliott's lyrics, but they were all awesome. The tribute songs were beautiful...it would make an interesting cd.

Oh my god, this is the first I have heard....we don't get news about people like Elliot and Nickel Creek in the UK, and I hadn't looked on here for ages....I had absolutely no idea

I can't believe it either. Elliott Smith was such an amazing musician, both as a performer and as a songwriter. His death is an enormous tragedy. His music meant so much to so many people (myself included), he will be deeply missed.
