NC Logo

Does anyone know what the relatively new NC logo is supposed to represent? The oval, with NC in the middle and sort of shark fins around it? A tall Chris in the middle with S and S on either side of him? Hmmm?

I think they should go for three seperate circles horizontal from each other with an instument in each circle pointing up.

I'm not a big fan of the logo (but I did buy a sticker for my case anyway). Doesn't seem to represent the music of the band very well? I happen to work with a guy who designs awesome logos for corporations and such, so maybe I'm biased?

I don't just love the new logo either, but I could see where it would be their personal style if maybe not their musical style. I believe they all waveboard a/o surf, and the logo has that feel. Honestly I would like some more tshirts and stocking caps maybe with a different logo. I have the white NIckel Creek-Always Listen girlie t and I wear it constantly! I am trying to save money this summer so I am making myself wait until the end of the summer to see if they come up with any new designs so that in August I can get a new t shirt and of course the new cd.
and the logo isn' awful by any means...it just doesn't have folksy feel.....I still want a sticker though...

Katybosu...I thought about that. The logo does have a surfy look to it. I know Sara and Sean surf when they're home here in the San Diego area, but I don't think Chris does...maybe I'm wrong. The logo doesn't have a musical look to it, or a creeky look...we must be missing something here!

the logo is cute..but i also think it doesnt really encompass their music into it, but i can see where the fins can be like lil surfboards ^.^
i have a white always listen girlie t-shirt :D but i cant wear it anymore...i had the whole band sign it so now its hanging in a frame in my tv room....ill just get another one ^.^
i think they should have baseball caps...the beanie hats make my hair frizz...lol oooh! and they should have uh..tour shirts with their faces on the front of the shirt! god i'd buy that in a heartbeat!:-))

The logo is not a good representation of the band's music.....but that's just me. They need some green in their logo. They seem like a green kinda band, ya know?
