Hey NC Fans!
I am so excited that this forum has taken off! I checked the forum about a year ago and it wasn't too active. Now, it is brimming with info and news and bootlegs!! I think I am old by nickel creek fan standards (26), but I have been a fan for several years. I first saw them on an episode of Crossroads 2 or 3 years ago, and I have been obsessed ever since.

My husband and I are longtime musicians and I have always felt that NC is a musician's band. The only people I have sold NC on wholeheartedly are musician friends. Laymen just don't get it! Oh, but I don't mean to offend. If you are a non-musician and listen to NC, you are one of the smart ones. (In fact, I would love to take a poll sometime to see the percentage of fans that are musicians themselves, but maybe later.) I LOVE the fact that there are forums for those who want to talk instrument technique! I hate to sound old, but I wish I had that when I was a kid! You guys don't know how lucky you are.

Anyway, now to the point. I am basically here to grovel, beg and claim ignorance. I consider myself very technology savvy, but the last time I talked bootlegs, DAT recorders were all the rage. I would love for someone to take pity on a diehard NC fan and hook me up with a concert or two. Had I known this trading thing was going on I would have recorded the last concert I went to here in the ATL. I give my solemn pledge to get with the program and start recording shows. We have some badass equipment with our musical connections (my husband teaches music) and I will promise to add to the pool next time NC comes to town. I am reading up on the B&P thing and so forth so I am ready when the time comes. Unfortunately, I have nothing of worth to offer you right now other than the knowledge that you are helping two fellow fans and musicians.

Any Takers??? Email me at lug@bellsouth.net

I'm in a hurry right now, so you can check out my list (http://db.etree.org/teyes/alt) and PM me with a few shows you're interested in and I'll send you my address.

Otherwise, expect an email this weekend.
