Okay...people that I've traded with have asked for Disc at once settings...Does anyone know how to change that setting on Windows Media Player? I can't download a different player because every time I try to, I always get viruses...can some one help me please???

It's not a function of Windows Media Player.
I've used Nero (www.nero.com) without problems, as there is a setting on there. Maybe try that?
Also please use EAC (www.exactaudiocopy.de) to extract your files onto your hard drive before burning; that is, disc-to-disc burning is often faulty.

You could always purchase a new burning program. That way you don't have to worry about downloading a virus. I use Roxio and like the features it offers a lot.

I've heard Roxio is hit and miss with some people... although you can set it as so, it may not always burn perfect DAO, which is what you want in trading - to be able to pass on the cleanest, best-sounding copy you can.
This becomes a more glaring problem over time if you don't extract the files off your source disc and then make a copy... and if you don't have an underrun buffer working with your burner (protects from harsh pops and clicks that may be introduced if you surf the web / load programs while you're burning). The (flawless) extraction program above also has burning capabilities, and a tutorial can be found here: http://bootleglist.com/copyaudio.htm
If you do need to purchase a program, though, I'd still recommend Nero. :) It's a fine investment. Be happy to help you out with getting it set up as well.

Just wanted to say that I too have just traded with someone for a DAO show and had no idea how to change the settings on my Windows Player so this info has enlightened me, thanks! I think I shall be investing in a new program too.

greetings
You can download a shareware version of Feurio burning
program that works very well for burning audio discs
here's a link:

Okay...here's my question...What exactly should a CD program have? What are the requirements for a good program that works well for trading? What should I look for when investing in one?
Thanks!

Exact Audio Copy or EAC is a great program. Read my stuck threads on the subject. There are some useful links that should help.

Allow me to add to this sucker.....
AfterDawn.com offers several packages for free download. Just click the tabbed link Software then choose the CD-R Software link. Stick with the top rated burning software. Most are trial versions of a larger program, but all will allow you to burn.
As I have stated in another thread, they offer you the Porche after letting you drive the Yugo.
Peace.
Remember to burn in DAO!
