Anyone else think Fox > Not Fade Away would be an awesome closer?? Looking at some setlists and having a live show (thanks Bug) I really like the way they jam out Fox > SHB > Fox and have seen that positioned as a 2nd set closer. Just thinking that Fox > NFA would be a nice twist.

I'm going to have to disagree here. I just don't think it would sound to great without the drums. However, I do think they could do an amazing version of Bid You Goodnight. Just them three and their voices...yeah very nice.

And We Bid You Goodnight would be a great closer.

I'll debate you on the drums aspect of NFA though as I think they can more than make up for it. Just think too that you'll get the whole crowd clapping along as well

The best show closer from NC that I have ever heard was when they played this rockin instrumental with a bunch of other guests that they had had on their show (it was the Nickel Creek and Friends concert at Merlefest) and then they went into the Fox, which is my ALL TIME favorite Nickel Creek song to hear live...it was so awesome!

i luv what they did at lancaster (wasn't that a great show tony!!) they were crazy, jamming string players (i had sooooo much fun jumping around!) and then they calmed everyone down with WYCBD and Be Thou My Vision. i luv the crazy stuff but i luv the calm stuff too and i think that if they would've ended with all the loud, freaking out stuff we never would've let them off the stage!! that's just my 2 cents!!
