Johnson City Show

Hey everyone, how's it going, guys, I'm from Johnson City TN, and I have every intentions of being at the show. NC is scheduled to play at 8:00, but I strongly advise anyone who wants a good seat to be there no later than 6:30. An incredible local band, The Reel Time Travelers are playing just before Nickel Creek, as if Nickel Creek wasn't going to be drawing a large enough crowd themselves. Also, guys, I'm a full time student at ETSU, but my family owns a local cafeteria, its called Sunny's, we serve southern cuisine, and its only a few blocks from the location of the concert, we're on 1000 South Roan Street, I'll be there until 4:00 on Saturday, and I would love to serve any of you who are going to be at the show and are hungry, just tell me when you come in and I'll try to throw a discount your way. My name is Josh, just ask for me, and if we don't see you there, we'll see you at the show, for any of you who haven't got to see them yet, this will be my fourth show in as many months, and its an incredible experience. Hey there. My brother and I finally convinced our Mother to come check out Nickel Creek. She can tend to be apprehensive about bands and festivals, etc. Anyway, we are driving down to Johnson City Saturday from Pennsylvania-an eight hour trip. After the show we are heading back home in order to be back in time to catch a few zzz's before heading off to church Sunday morning. But it will all be worth it. We probably won't get there until 5 or 6 p.m. So how do these shows work? Is it just on the streets? Do we bring lawnchairs and etc? Anyway, we're looking forward to this venture!

yeah...how DO these shows work? Josh, I will be up there tomorrow with two friends and I am going to try my hardest to come to Sunny's. I have really been wanting to meet some fellow fan club members. I know when you go to the concerts you can meet a bunch of people who are NC fans but I haven't met anyone in the fanclub yet. for the Blue Plum festival, it will be first come, first serve standing, and let me forewarn everyone now, I talked to a few people tonight while I was at the Acoustic Syndicate show, they are expecting 10,000 plus on Saturday, which will be quite a few for a small street, because that is where the show is going to be, on Main Street in Downtown Johnson City, about four blocks from my resturaunt.I encourage all fans to get there early, my mom and my best friend caught them tonight at the Riverbend, but I haven't talked to them yet to see how it went, they are staying an extra day to see Delbert McClinton. There will be a lot of music starting at 4:00 on Sat., and plenty of arts, crafts, and kids stuff goin' on all day long, just show up early, and wait around, so that you can be sure to have a good spot. C-you guys there.
