Hi Laura! yes, I am heading to GF yet again for another wonderful year of music, friends, and hills!!
[noise]
I have been going there for many, many years. Last year was your first? I hope the weather this year is as good as last! the year before was flooded...really!
[eek!!]
there is a GF yahoo group, you should go check that out too.
I learned of Nickel Creek from GF fest. I have seen them there as many years as they have been going, and have been lucky to see them locally too.:D

I've been going to Grey Fox since it was called Winterhawk, and that was where i first heard Nickel Creek. I remember last year's was SO cool because after NC's set I actually hung out with Chris for about an hour, just hanging out and having a cherry pit spitting contest. they didn't get to stay this year, but I did give Chris a bag of cherries, and in return he gave me a big hug (I think I was in heaven LoL) Anywho, the best thing about Grey Fox is the workshops, where you get up close and personal with the musicians. Chris and Sarah had them this year, and I hope they do again next year. I also took that opportunity to talk to Chris and Sarah, since I got the heads up from Fielding before-hand that they weren't staying long after their set. So I would defintaley try to go if I were you, people come from all over the country, its really cool.
