I love the part where she says Chris is straddling a bean bag chair! Can he get any cuter! LOL
Bean bags rock. I just got one last week, cause it's the perfect height for playing mandolin. Comfy too! Heheh.
When I read Sara's journal I just had to laugh. I hadn't had Nutella for a couple of years and then I had a craving for it yesterday. I just scraped the last bite out of my jar too! That stuff is wonderful.

I love it when she describes what's happening at that moment...It gives you a totally new look into what it's like to be a recording artist. It's not all glitz and glamor, but it doesn't have to be...it seems like they prefer it that way.
She also becomes so descriptive. She should be a writer...
Take this for example:
Nov 13
You know those really large, ornate snowglobes you find in department stores or expensive boutiques this time of year? Sometimes on the heavy base just outside the glass there is a figure of a train going around, a nativity scene or children ice-skating, caroling...
I feel like right now, I am one of the children there, outside of the swirling, whirling white world. On the inside of this life size globe is a strip of Delaware Ave in Buffalo, NY which runs past my window seat at the Spotlife coffee shop and on the opposite side of the avenue and down about half a block is a long, tall brick bank-ish looking, brick building. Before it, in fact almost directly across from where I sit is a similarly shaped hotel. The space between them has become a virtual wind tunnel through which snow blows like a blizzard and makes a direct hit, intersecting my little avenue here.
As you can imagine this impertinent wind is quite confusing to the other little flurries that frolic with much less insistency. The confusion, however, sends snowflakes toward, and now away from, me making for a beautiful descending ballet. It is wonderfully pleasing.
She describes where she is, and how she sees it...she's an awesome writer.

She is... and that totally makes me wonder why she doesn't write songs! Can you imagine how awesome those lyrics would be?
.. I wanna be like her when I grow up!! ;) :D

Sara updated her journal again. Sounds like they're having a great time working on the new record. And its cool that she takes the time to fill us in on how things are going with her and the band. And I would have to agree with her last sentence! :)
i love the bit about the ikea furniture and the 16 screws!!

Oh dear Lord I feel so spoiled!! 3 journal entries so far this year!!
I won't ruin the last sentence but oh how do I love it. Once again I cannot express how much I admire Nickel Creek... I just am at a loss for words I love them so much!!

That last line is very powerful. I now really want to be in a band. Not like I didn't though before I read that line. Dang Chris sure can persuade a person.

I love that homey, romantic/rustic image of their sitting by the fire with notebooks & wine. Fantastic. Sounds like an inspiring scene--gah, I can't wait for that new album!
