I'm just wondering if anyone else is going to see NC in Seattle at the Paramount and wants to meet up either before or after the show? We can have some crazy .info boardies on the town, scaring the general population of the already pretty scary city of Seattle LOL -- Also, anyone fork out the $60 per ticket & get the VIP tickets + preparty thing the Mountain had?

...am I seriously going to be the only.info'er there? Come on, don't be shy, I won't bite, unless you're a Qunzo's Bourbon Chicken sandwich...mmm...- those are some good sandwiches.

Okay, sooo the show is tomorrow. Roll call? Roll call? Oh well, if you're there, you'll recognize me from my shortness, my hyperness and the fact that I'll be there with two of my friends and we'll be the three crazy girls that hopefully don't get branded as annoying drunks (we're like this sober, I swear)

Obviously, the show at Seattle freakin rocked...All I have to say about Mindy Smith is that woman is freakin' crazy...she also told everyone she liked the venue so much that she's going to play for the next two hours and Nickel Creek can come back some other time haha
But about the main event - NC's performance. Wow, it was awesome. I got in trouble though for blowing bubbles during Trouble...haha, okay so that's a point of reference, no bubble blowing at a NC concert, but you'd think that'd be fun...and it was...*shrugs* I hate to say this but I really don't like most of the new material - well except Scotch & Chocolate, that song freakin' rocks...and there are certain things about the latest version of Starve Them To Death that bug me, but maybe I need time for it to grow on me...but umm THEY PLAYED GREEN & GRAY.
I was bummed when they came out for their second encore that they didn't play Be Thou My Vision. But the second encore was pretty cool in that they played around one mic. I wish my camera wasnt such an evil thing because most of my pictures didn't come out too well and the ones that are will be used in Watkins Family Online & my music website. But anyways, it was good stuff.
So, of course, we hang out by the bus after the show - I couldn't help myself because I am forever the gift-giver (you have no idea how much things i've given to people in that ONE day...not just NC but friends, random people, it's very lovely, I guess...or something) and when I went to a novelty shop I found things that just made me think of the band, and I also gave them this gift basket full of candy and a box of herbal tea because no one in my house drinks herbal tea and yet we have this huge unopened box. But anyway, first Sara came out and I gave her a train whistle since she's said before that she couldn't whistle. It was great because she was like oh my gosh! busted it out of the packaging and said I'm going to hide it from Chris because in that song he did....blue yodel #5, there's something about a train whistle so I'm going to hide it & go *blows whistle* at tomorrow's show to surprise him - so yeah, Portland show go'ers, if she blew the whistle, now you know where it came from ;)
I could go into a long rambling story of the night but I won't put you through it. I might put the folks at Green & Gray through it though hahaha...But let's just say it was a freakin' awesome time and that I'm bummed there was no after bus show (but hey I'm not complaining, the night was AMAZING already) and that I didn't get a picture with Sean & Sara though I could've, but I did get one with Thile and that rocks - plus it gives me a mission for the next time ;)

On the old official NC site when it was just a plain simple site there was a good pic of Chris and Sean and he was wearing glasses in it. Don't know where the pic went though.
