buy sean's album!!!

if you're like me, you really dig on the NC album and Chris's solo album, and figure you'll get around to listening to Sean's album some day.
Well if that's the case, go out and buy Sean's album NOW! I just got it at the Riverbend show, and it's so great. A lot of nice stuff not unlike Pastures Green as well as some bluegrassy stuff, etc. And the title track is great. In my opinion, I think it's great that Glen Phillips did the vocals, but I look forward to Sean singing on the next album, as he does a good job on the song in concert.
Since I'm a mando freak, I LOVE the fact that Sean plays the mando on most of the tracks. Such versatility! Of course the stuff Chris does near the end on the title cut is simply astonishing, but Sean can hold his own. Great stuff.

Definitely, if you don't have it yet, buy Sean's cd. The songs he composed are beautiful and his playing is just wonderful. I also got it around a month ago and am playing it all the time. He is extremely talented!

yeah i looove sean's album. all the songs blend perfectly together. i heard he was going to put a celtic song on the album but he decided not to since that wasn't really the theme of the album. i don't know why but all the songs on the cd remind me of fall/autumn. maybe it's the colors he used on the cover and the title to track 8?

[nod] I agree with all of you! Sean's CD is sooo great. I just love to listen to the softer songs to relax, and the more up tempo ones are great too! It's a great CD to listen to in the car. I would recommend it to anyone who likes NC because the songs are similar to his instrumentals on the group CD but these go in a slightly different direction. I can't fully describe how great it is. I would just say if you haven't yet please check this one out!

I just bought Sean's album online. It sucks that here in portland, they only have nickel creek's album and that is a small supply.
can't wait to here sean's album.

Yeah, I had to buy Sean's album online also. What can you say about the limited selection at local stores. Mandofocus, I don't mean to be nosy, but that is an awesome house! What's the story behind it, if any?

the selection is about 5 stores around here that sell cds. REALLY sucks.the story behind the house? a couple of friends are looking into buting it. it's a 6 bedroom 5.5 bathroom pad. great for russian parties. (all my friends are russian.)

Wow, I hope your friends get it! My brother is fluent in russian and all during college had many russian friends. Now he is living in Khazakstan with his native kz wife and utilizing that language and culture to the fullest! :) It is such a beautiful language!

Sean's album is so awesome! does anyone know when his new one will be out? i heard him say at merlefest that he was looking towards sometime in the summer...anyone heard anything else at any other shows?
