Portland, OR show April 17th

Is anyone here going to the Portland show on the 17th, that will be taking pictures? I heard there is a way to take pictures without a flash, and I have no clue about that. So if any of you are doing that, could I get pics from you?

Hi! It's cool to see someone else on here who is going to the Portland concert! I'm really excited since this is my first NC concert. Have you been to one before? Why are we not allowed to take flash photos? Sorry I'm not really familiar with the details. I'm hoping to bring my camera though. Did you see NC when they came to Portland the last time? What time do you think we should arrive to get good seats (close to front row)? Sorry for all of the questions but I'm a newbie! :D

ooooooh! i am getting so mad about it! i mean, first i was just bummed that i found out about it and i knew i couldnt go cuz great i'm going to Vegas that exact weekend and so i was like oh well as long as i catch them in summer. then everyone starts mentioning it and asking if i'm going and saying well I am its gonna be great! (no DUH!) and i was like shut up already! i cant stand it! anyways so no i'm not going but if someone could post pictures i would love it. then i could cry silently...but it would be cool cuz i have seen them in the exact same place, August 29th.

Well, this is my second Nickel Creek concert. When I went last, they told me that I couldn't take flash pictures with my camara. The band doesn't really like flashes going off during the concert, which is understandable. Sometimes the band comes out after the show, from what I've heard. But this time the building employees and stage crew told us to leave. So that was a bummer to me because I really wanted a pic.
Anyway, if you want to get in the very front of the stage, you will need to be in line by 5:00 or 5:30. That's what me and my friend did last, and we got right in front of Sara. Let me tell you though, you will get a neck ache from looking up at them for 2 hours, but it's well worth it

I'm attending with the my friend Alexeya (she was the one in the wheelchair at the last shows). My parents might go but they're undecided at this point. If they don't, I'll have 2 free tickets. I'll let you guys know if I do after I get settled into my new place.

Also, the place packs pretty darn quickly. Alexeya and I got there at 4pm last time to get in front of Sara. We're prolly gonna do it again.

It's so cool to hear from other people planning on attending the concert. :D I'm really feeling like a newbie now that everyone seems to have been to their other concert last year. So I'm guessing that the concert is in the same place it was last year? Is it a standing up kinda concert? :confused: Sorry you can't make it ~*~SARA ROX!~*~ but if I can get some nice pics, I'll be sure to post them on here!:D

sigh...i know what you mean. that was my second one, but ah it was so good! tho i got much more talking in with sara at the first i went to...i just hope that they come back at the end of the summer like they have the past two years! its the best and now only way for me to end my summer properly! if they dont help me keep up the now going for 3 year tradition, i'm going to be devastated! not only that but i will forever regret being in Las Vegas watching ROTK in an IMAX theater while it was going on right near home without me! even tho ROTK in IMAX is almost right up there next to seeing nickel creek...if you had seen me there, even tho even if you had you totally wouldnt remember me, i was probly the shortest one there. and probly the youngest too. everyone was so nice about asking if i could see and everything, even tho i was right up there and they were like hanging over me. what a wonderful feeling!
