reading through the boards over the last week there's been a ton of fantastic music recommendations.

whichever genius first mention john mayer i need to shake you by the hand. i finally managed to listen to some of his tracks and there are just amazing.

and glen phillips... well...

all this is great but i have one problem. which guster album should i get first? any offers?

thank you I love john and I was just hoping someone who hasnt herd him do the same thing you did. Im so glad you like him too, If you want to, You can allways start with some toad the wet sprocket, thats the band glen used to sing for befor it broke up, thats how i first fell in love with him the tracks are great.

the first Guster cd i would recommend would be Parachute...every song on that album is sparkling with talent, spirit and love for music, and the harmonies kick major behind!!!!:p

thanks a lot for that. i've just had a massive cd binge melting the credit card getting john mayer and glen phillips and toad stuff... and now i can get guster too!

has anyone heard of david mead? what's his stuff like?

Gotta go with Laura on this one - Parachute is my favorite. It's a bit more mellow than the other albums. Lost & Gone Forever is really craetive, though. It has more variety - every song sounds kinda different. Lyrically speaking, all albums are exellent. I feel that most of their songs are about me. (Demons, Center of Attention, Eden....)

And John Mayer........wow. The Guster/Mayer tour is not coming anywhere near me!!! I'm so upset! Boo-hoo![sob]
