I just got back from the concert in Richmond VA. The concert was great, but I was very disappointed they didn't play Lighthouse.

I saw them here last year and they did a 20 miniute version before a break that blew everybody away! I was sure it was their Freebird.

We did hear some new songs. Have they stopped play Lighthouse? Anybody else with that experience?

I heard when they started this tour they wanted to bring back songs that hadn't gotten a lot of stage time in the past. Perhaps they feel it's time for Lighthouse to take a backseat. I personally don't mind. It is one of their standards but it doesn't ruin my night if I don't hear it.

I thought they did very well, working off no crowd reaction. There didn't seem to be very much in the way of applause, considering the size of the crowd.

Is anyone going to make this show up for trade? I would love to know if you got it!

At the Philadelphia show in late March, they played Lighthouse as part of the second encore. Later on, outside, Chris was talking about how they tend to get tired of songs that they wrote very quickly, and they were taking a rest on some of them this tour before they exhausted them completley. He then went on to mention that that was the first time they had played Lighthouse on the tour, and it was only because so many people in the audience were calling for it.

So yeah, don't expect to hear it too much.

They actually played it in Tuscaloosa in March, too, but during the bus side encore.

They did play it in St. Louis recently during the encore I believe. I'll back up the giving certain songs a rest theory. They tend to get tired of playing some of the songs otherwise.

they played it in Athens in April, but as far as i remember played it very quickly through and took more time on the Yellow (it was Yellow right? i hope i am not losing my mind) segway than on the rest of the song. so i guess even when they are playing it they are trying to change it up.

Does anybody have a setlist for the Richmond show? I totally forgot I was trying to go to this show but my mom wouldn't go for a track meet, a Nickel Creek concert and a Kings Dominion trip one right after the other. I can't believe I forgot all about this concert...wish I had gone!! [bang]

:( Wish I did. Someone hinted that they might have it for live show trading awhile back (I think I posted it under shows I want) but I haven't heard anything since.
