checked the NC website last night. Te summer seems to be wide open for them. Any news on adding venues soon?

The only thing I've heard is a possible short tour with Glen Phillips to support the Mutual Admiration Society CD. Other than that they are in the studio trying the get the new CD out by October.

All I know is...regardless if they're recording, the touring schedule just looks so empty now *insert sad music*

;) :p

True-- but they have to have time off to record more in the studio! I have mostly seen complaints on this board about them not having a new record...so we shouldn't complain about them taking time off to do it.:)

Yeahhhhhhh -but- I haven't seen the Creek since November! waahh.. I remember waiting for This Side to get released... of course that was all by myself and I had no message forum to complain about the wait with, and now I do. Ha.

Yes, see now you have a support system. ;)

And don't get me wrong, I totally understand the recording process, but it's still sad to see a practically empty tour schedule. But I'm always like that with any band I like. I love seeing that they're out performing, even if it's nowhere near my general vicinity. Then again, I'm kinda odd...

Where are you from anyhow? I may have been lucky in MS. But hey, they're recording an album, I want the album to listen to when ever I want. And they'll be back soon.

Puyallup is a town that's about 45 miles south of Seattle...pretty big town, I guess...we have the biggest fair in the Northwest, and the couple acre fairgrounds are around all year and hold random events (like car shows...yes!) And I mean they've played a lot of shows around the area in the past couple of years, but I've only been able to make it to the two most recent SEattle shows (I'm not complaining!) But I was just talking of the weird joy I have in seeing any band's tourdates in general...odd, I know.

We got spoiled here in Cleveland by having several shows in relatively fast succession, didn't we? I've been reminding myself of that lately when looking at their Ohio-free concert schedule. I had to fly to Nashville to see them the first time I went to one of their concerts.
