Just found out that the presale for the MAS cd has started and apparently the first 100 preorders get a signed booklet...Can't beat that...I just ordered mine!

I ordered mine in a fit of excitement... but I'm wondering if I can call Sugar Hill and cancel it, 'cause I didn't consider the amount of time it will take to get it forwarded from my current address to my new address....

:eek: :eek: :eek: !!! $20 to ship to the UK, are they serious???!!! As much as I'd love to try to get a signed copy I think I'll wait and hope that they release the album over here. Was hoping that I'd get a review copy, but as yet I haven't recieved one :(

Interesting cover for the CD. Who is it on the cover, anyone know?

[bang] I'm an idiot!!! I just looked at the site again and realised I'd selected 'Insured' shipping, I changed it to 'Uninsured' (not sure if that was a good idea) and it became a far more reasonable $6 for shipping. So I ordered my copy and am praying I was in the first 100!

I guess we'll find out when we get the CD. But what I'm wondering is if the signed CD booklet will be sent separately from the CD. When I got my autographed '26 Miles' CD from CMT.com, the booklet was sent separate, the actual CD came later.

Right now the CD pre-sale page says:
First 100 preorders received a signed booklet!

So I guess it's over...

How can you tell whether you got in? Will you just get the book in the mail before the CD?

Hope that means I was in the first 100 coz when I saw the site it said 'recieve' a signed booklet, so with a bit of luck I'll get one! *crosses fingers*

I'd be able to get it signed by NC if they come here again but I doubt I'll ever see Glen so that was my main reason for wanting one of the first 100 copies. And also it'll be a cool thing to have!

I ordered mine at about 9:30 this morning (eastern time.) I don't remember what it said, wheter it be recieve or recieved. I really hope I get one, but the chance is really slim.

I got an email congratulating me on being one of the first hundred folks. So, I guess if you get an email, you're good to go.

There are a few different companies who are doing this promotion...I think it was the Glen Phillips store and Sugar Hill...which one did you get the email from?

PS: The Glen Store promotion was long gone by the time that I found out about it...so I didn't mention it on the board.

I placed my order at the Sugar Hill site. I don't know exactly when I placed my order... probably around a week and a half ago? I guess when Sugar Hill first came out with the promotion. Patrick ( Srol ) told me about it before I had gotten the SH newsletter.

Geeze, this kinda stinks! I just got an email from the Nickel Creek website. Now that website is selling the MAS CD on pre-order. Not only is it cheaper there, but the first 100 orders get an autographed copy. I missed the boat on the sugar hill website, but went ahead and ordered it anyway. If I woulda just waited a little longer I coulda got an autographed copy from the NC website. Not really a huge deal, just a bummer. Guess I'll just hope to them after the show in Cleveland!

I thought it was kind of cool. On CMT.com they have MAS in the banner add. And it has all their names. Lil more exposure.

I dont think this has been asked yet and I was curious- will the presale MAS CD's be shipped on July 13th, or will we recieve them on July 13th?

I'd guess they'd send them out so we get them on the 13th. Not sure if I'd get mine that day as I'm in the UK, but I reckon you guys in the US would get them then.

I finally got my review copy of the CD today and it sounds fantastic!!! I'll now end up with 2 copies because of the one I ordered online, just in case I didn't get a review copy, but you can never have too much MAS, right?!

The DJ copies arrived at radio stations this week (later than expected, btw), so you may begin hearing MAS on the air. Sugar Hill recordings are usually played on country/folk/americana/acoustic shows on the non-commercial part of the FM dial, so that's where MAS is likely to turn up.

My confirmation email said 1 Bonus Pack, 1 CD, and 1 Signed book. So I'm guessing that means I made it in the first 100. :) I ordered it so long ago I keep forgetting that it's actually released next week.

I haven't had a confirmation email :confused: Well, even if I don't get an email, I hope my one includes a bonus package - whatever that may be, it sounds like it migt be interesting though!

My email mentioned something about one signed CD, one CD, and one bonus pack. I honestly have no idea what the 'bonus pack' is, but maybe we get a little something extra? :)

Yes!! I also got the email saying that I ordered the CD and I get a signed book and a bonus pack! I didn't think I made it in time to get a signed book and I had no idea there was a bonus pak involved, so I'm bouncing off the walls!!!
