The Mutual Admiration Society represents a collaboration between Glen Phillips (Toad The Wet Sprocket) and Sara Watkins, Sean Watkins & Chris Thile (Nickel Creek). Rehearsed, recorded and mixed in just six days with producer Ethan Johns, the release features songs written and sung by Phillips with accompaniment and other vocals from the Grammy-winning Nickel Creek. The musicians became fast friends dubbing themselves the Mutual Admiration Society.
