I think Ron is the best. He's just an all-around fun character. He adds comic-relief and all that.
Are we talking on screen or in the books? Either way for me, it's still Ron. I love seeing his character acted out. :D

I guess there's no real need for me to reiterate my love for Ron... :D But who cares!? Ron is an amazing character in the books!

I know my LEAST favorite character, Colin Creevy, or whatever. God I wanted to shoot him when I read about him.

I'm a Harry girl, plain and simple.
i chose Ron. but what i should have done was pick other and so the other characters are Fred and Greorge, because they are all out jokesters! especially in the 5th book!

Yeah, Fred and George are 2 of my favorites too. I kind of forgot about them!

I love Fred and George.... They are sooo funny in the 5th one. I was upset when they left though.
I totally forgot about Lupin... He was an amazing character. He was developed so perfectly... I just.. wow! I love him. I couldn't wait for the 3rd movie to see him. I hate to say, but I was a little disappointed in his portrayal, but hey, it can't all be perfect, right? But yeah, Lupin is amazing. I wish I could have a mentor like that... besides the werewolf part.. :D

I compleatly agree with Fred and George being the best. I am an identical twin myself so me and my sister Juli have this constant joke that when we go to Hogwarts there will be one for each of us. (I get Fred!!!):D

How can you tell them apart? :D Especially from the descriptions in the book. I never noticed a slight difference in personality.. The only way I could tell them apart in the movies was because George had a lower voice than Fred. :D

Yeah, thats pretty true, I guess I never think of them separate. I just always think of them together!

True.. I always associate one with the other... :D
But I will admit, I liked George... I don't know why... :D Again, I could tell them apart because of the voice pitch difference!

Yeah, but in the game it is VERY easy to tell them apart.
Anybody know why?
Because Fred has a great big F on his shirt.
And George has a great big G on his shirt.

But see.. they are always arguing.. everyone says, oh love hate relationship... but what are Hermione's feelings?? :D
oooh.. I like it yes...
I don't want to get yelled at again, so let's try to stay on topic. :D
Tinuviel Girl

Yes, that is true, but nobody in the books really cares about Hermione's feelings. Except Harry, Ron, and Hagrid. I dunno.
BTW, good idea about staying on topic.

I said Lupin. I developed a bit of a crush on him. Yes, it's possible to have a crush on a fictional character. He wasn't as glamorous as I'd hoped in movie 3, but I thought he got the attitude/persona down!:D
A close fav would be Ron (yeah I'm a R/H shipper. it's gonna happen. the fighting is just sexual tension) and after Ron, it's a toss up between Fred/George and Ginny. I see Ginny developing as a character and coming into her own.

YES!! I'm not the only one!! :D I was disappointed with the guy who played Lupin... the way they described, I thought he was supposed to be some tall, lanky guy, meaning really thin... and attractive in some ways... David Thewlis was alright... not attractive at all... (his nose was too big, in my opinion), and he was chubby... more so than Neville... geez....
Sexual tension?? Whatever.... How does Hermione feel?? That's what I wanna know. Everyone says that they are going to end up together.... but when people date, both people have feelings for each other, right? Only Ron has expressed feelings... That's my defense! :D

Just throwing in my 2 cents about the guy who played Lupin here.
I don't think they did that great of a job with the casting of the part. I wasn't really able to believe in him as Lupin They need to cast someone thinner, more worn down looking, more like Lupin was described in the books. Billy Boyd could have done it. :D
I also have to say that I wasn't that thrilled with the casting of Sirius until I saw the movie. Now I'm ok with it.

Gary Oldman was pretty good, but I was disappointed that they didn't develop him. It was I HATE YOU SIRIUS!! You're the reason my parents are dead!! and then about three seconds later, OH SIRIUS!! I WANT TO LIVE WITH YOU! *mumbles* makes me angry...
omg... Billy Boyd would have been AWESOME as Lupin... but I dunno if I would be able to take all the people in the theatres saying, Oh... LOOK! It's Pippin! And.. he's a little short.. :D

The third movie moved too fast as a whole. They left out important parts of the plot (well, I think anyway) and rushed the whole thing.
I don't know if most people who go to see the Harry Potter movies would have recognized Billy as Lupin. As for being short, he could have worn big shoes. :D

I think that they made a good choice on who is going to play Mad Eye Moody. Brendan Gleeson is his name. He has been in A LOT of movies, and I think he will do fine.
I was also a little disappointed from David Thewlis performance. It wasn't that he didn't do a good job, its just that he wasn't they way I thought he would be.

I agree on the leaving stuff out.. I was really angry that Harry didn't know about the Marauder's Map and how Lupin knew James. I felt jipped...
I hate to say, but I am disappointed in the choice for Mad-Eye.. he's fat.. and the way he's described, and how I pictured him.. he was really thin, lanky, like long arms and long legs.
However, I will say that he was really good in 28 Days Later.. :D But yeah, off topic.. [bang]

Well, I guess I never really pictured Mad Eye Moody as being lanky. Huh.

I think it was the little illustrations on the chapter pages. I don't know why, but I pictured him lanky. And this guy just.... isn't...

Well, I guess so.
I dunno. As long as he plays the part well, I can't complain.

Yeah.. I can't be complaining yet...
Oh.. there's going to be a new director again.. So hopefully, a lot of things won't be let out!

Billy Boyd, eh? That's not a little bias, there is it? ;) Hehe, I don't see Billy as Lupin at all. Actually, and I came across this recently, Jude Law. I don't think he's terribly attractive, but he's really more along the lines as what I saw as Lupin.
I loved the portrayal of Lupin, though. I thought that Thewlis did a good job in showing a distinguished--albeit, tired--gentleman. I've always seen Lupin as the strong/silent type ( ), which translates to me as gentlemanly. I realize that Lupin was described as pretty worn looking, but I've never seen him as haggard, exactly. Haggard would portray a desolation, I think, and I don't see that in Lupin. He's had a tough life, and he's sensitive, but he's also a fighter. His spirit isn't broken yet.
Oops, sorry I can go on about Lupin for hours.:)

Only Ron, eh? I disagree. Hermione was pretty indignant about the Yule Ball. Yeah, Viktor asked her out first but it was pretty obvious she was hurt by Ron. Hermione is mad jealous of Fleur, when she pays attention to the boys, specifically Ron. Yeah, there are currently more obvious moments of Ron's liking Hermione than vice versa. Again, this is something else I could ramble about for awhile....so I'll just direct you here (http://ronandhermione.org/wnl/couple.php?quotes) for any further questions.:)
Yes, yes I know, terribly OT[hide]

Well... on my part, Jude Law is more attractive than Thewlis.. :)
He did an alright protrayal, with what he was given. I was disappointed that he wasn't developed. He just looked like an old, tired, dude, who liked Harry for some reason.
I agree with the strong silence thing. It fits him... in the book. :D
