Hey---we were worried about Nickel Creek losing their sound? I just heard 30 seconds of the Smoothie Song and I am totally reassured! It sounds awesome!

I think it is so mean of Sugar Hill to give us only 30 SECONDS every week to listen to! I'm dying of excitement for the new album!

i know what you mean. 30 secs is torture in a way since we can't listen to the whole song. but that keeps people from saving the songs and file sharing. not that any of us here would do that but there are people out there that would do that.

We have a mere 49 more days to wait to hear it all!

What do I need on my computer to listen to the file? My usual Media Player doesn't support the file. Any suggestions?

you need the Real Media player.

the basic version of the player is free, so dont let them trick you into buying anything :-)

interesting quote lizbeth.
but if all the unnoticed leaves didn't do their job, the tree would die rather spectacularly.

I was looking at what songs are going to be on the new album and I noticed that Locking Doors isn't on it. Is there anyplace other than a live show that I can hear a clip of it? I live in Oregon so Nickel Creek doesn't come by here much. :( I also heard The Smoothie Song. What an awsome sound. Little bit different from the 1st cd sound but still awsome. I can't wait for the cd.

MandoBob, thanks for the input. Got it installed without any problems.

B/t/w, I agree that the ordinary are important. W/o them, the extraordinary wouldn't ever realize that they see things most people miss every day. I think the key difference just comes down to passion. (Not that just is in any way an applicable to passion...)

mandobob, i agree with you about Locking Doors! I was SOO looking forward to it being on the new album!
