I WISH i knew how to play an instrument so that I could memorize, transcribe, and play it all night and all day! Unfortuneately, I'll just have to settle for the continuos loop 24/7 option!

go to the sugar hill site and look under nickel creek they have it over on the left side of the screen.
I see the link to Downloads, but the only sound file they have is Reasons Why.
EDIT: Found it!! Thanks, Liz!!
The normal way to find it is to follow the Upcoming Releases link on the SH homepage: http://www.sugarhillrecords.com/catalog/forthcoming.cgi

I think that the 30-second clips are such torture! You just start getting into the song, feeling it out, and then it just cuts out! AHHH! So I've decided to restrain myself and wait patiently until August 13th, when I can listen to it all in its entirety and dive into the music, not just skim the surface!

MandoBob,
I just noticed that you're from Chattanooga, TN. What a coincidence b/c so am I! I'm guessing that you saw Nickel Creek at Riverbend in June, right. Can you tell me about the concert...(ie. what they sang and other details) I was sadly out of town for Riverbend and missed seeing them. Thanks!

Hi Tottenham...
I saw this and I figure that mandobob just never saw it.
I am from OK, but a friend and I drove to the Chattanooga and the Johnson City concerts. They were amazing, and honestly the logistics of when to get to Chattanooga and when to go downtown, yada yada yada were made much easier because I got bunches of advice from Mandobob before hand.
Afterwards all the boardies that went posted on a couple threads one of which is Riverbend Report. It is on the 2nd page of general discussion. If you can't find it, check to see how many days back your computer is showing since it may have been mre than 30 days since the last reply.
Sorry you couldn't make it. It was an amazing show! HOpefully when the tour gets going for This Side, they will come a little closer so my best friend and I don't have to drive 16 hours to see them. I do have to say that it is absolutely beautiful around Chattanooga and the town seems great. Honestly I liked it so much that I am looking into moving to that part of the country when I get done with school. I guess we will just see where God leads me.
take care,
Katy

I'm still kinda clueless about my computer therefore I dont know how to keep my real player in the continuous loop thing. I really like the young song and the 7 wonders. I could get the full 30 seconds out of it if I knew how to keep it continuously going. Maybe some one could help? Please?

Katy and Mandobob,
Thanks for the info on the NC Riverbend concert. I'm still bummed I missed it, but I'm hoping to go to the one in Nashville...problem is that I'll be in school (in Arkansas) then and I won't drive all the way to Nashville unless I can get some prett darn good seats. That's what's great about Riverbend...you get there early, you get good seats and if you stick around you can meet them after the concert. Did either one of you guys get to talk to them afterwards? And I'll check out the previous postings about Riverbend.
In Him,

Tottenham-
I got to talk to Sara after the show in Chattanooga and to all of them a little bit after the Johnson City show. They were all incredibly down to earth and kind and just amazingly gracious.
If you have a chance to see them...DEFINITELY GO!!!! Seeing them in concert just makes you appreciate their music 100x more because you are able to see the love and passion they possess for what they are doing. As you watch them you think Wow, there is nothing they would rather be doing right now!
Btw- off topic here :) where are you going to school in AR? I ask because I am from Ft.Smith, AR and I go to school in OK. You have a chance of seeing them in AR though. THe first concert I saw was in Conway at UCA back in April :)
MandoBob-
After how kind you were to answer ALL ofmy questions before the TN concerts I figured you must not have seen it because I didn't think you would have not replied, so it makes sense that you PM'd :) I have seriously been thinking about Chattanooga. I am doing elementary education and I want o do my masters in library science. Dream job: owning a children's bookstore/cafe/coffee shop type place (think You've got Mail but with a coffee shop and you know...successful ) Most likely occupations: working as a kindergarten teacher or a librarian-honestly either would be fine. both would allow for lots of time to be a mom (something that is VERY VERY VERY far down the line...need a husband first etc... but still something I consider)
Anyway...do you know anything about the school districts in Chattanooga? I know that your work isn't involved in this sort of thing...but do you know what the market would be like in Chattanooga, or any other cities around there that have that sort of feel?
OK... now that I have written all that I am think that I probably should have just PM'd you both :) OH well...have a lovely evening :)

Katy,
Thanks for your message. I'm so jealous that you've gotten to meet them. I would love to have a couple of minutes with NC just so I could ask them about their music, their lives, their experiences, and their Christianity. I'm amazed by all 4 from what I've seen and heard about them. I definitely want to get tickets to the Nashville concert, but that's a big venue and I don't know if they'd be able to meet fans after the concert. Anyway, I'll keep hoping that something will work out. I go to school at Harding University in Seary, AR. Everyone asks me why I'm from Chatt and to go school in AR. Well, Harding is a wonderful Christian school with amazing people and an equally amazing atmosphere. I love it! (Ok, that's my plug for my college) I also went to the concert in Conway! It was awesome (especially, the two encores) but I couldn't stay after the concert b/c I had to get back to school...we got in way late! I was sitting in the middle of the balcony...great seats but I wish we'd been on the floor. Well, that's all for now I guess.
In Him,
:)

Just wanted to say that I am very glad to hear that I am not the only one. My friends are starting to tease me about listening to my 30 second clips nonstop :)
