Hello, I am new here. I am a big sean fan. I saw the new pictures of Nickel Creek on the sugar hill publicity page and sean looks so hot![bigeyes] I think he could be a model if he wanted to. I read the post about sean having no fans. I can't believe more people don't like him. In my opinion, he is very talented and hansome. If I was there I would be the first in line to meet him. I know how overwhelming it would be to have to meet so many people. He is even more irresistable to me because he's shy. I can relate to him more than the other members. I have one question, why doesn't Nickel Creek play in Southern California? They live here so it seems like they would perform here more often. I want to see them so bad! Hi Cabriogirl Welcome to the NC boards!

We live in Southern California, too, and wish we had more opportunities to see NC in the flesh. They played at the House of Blues in LA about a year ago, but that's the closest I think they've come to San Diego.

We try to go to the few bluegrass festivals around, festivals I suspect the NC kids performed at 10 years ago.

I know when Sean and Sara are home here in the San Diego area they do a lot of non-NC jamming, jazz sessions with friends, and so forth.

All we can do is keeping checking the tour schedule and pray a lot!

I live in Oregon and the closest that they ever come here is in Tacoma, Wa (6hrs away) and Jacksonville, OR (6hrs away). Don't ever come to Portland, OR (unless NC plays here) because the bluegrass scene is non-exsistant here. Heck, I'm the only mando player in the portland-metro area. [bigeyes]
Anyways. as for the San Diego area, check out Largos. I hear that they play there on occassion. Also Glen Phillips plays there as well sometimes.:)

I agree that Sean could be a model! And refering to the comment about him not having as many fans...

I don't think it's that he has less fans, I think it's more of the fact that it's obvious that Sean is the shyest one of the group...and I think that most of his fans respect that enough so that we are not going to insist on talking to him as much as we do Sara and Chris (not that Sean WOULDN'T talk to his fans). I think that most of the fans just don't approach Sean as much because he is more introverted than Sara and Chris...but that doesn't mean we don't love him just as much!
