Owensboro, KY show

I went to the NC show in Owensboro, KY last night.....anybody else go? Our local paper is so lame they didn't even do a review!! NC was awesome....it was held in a concert theatre that is mostly used for Broadway-type productions, symphonies, etc... real stuffy stuff.....but NC brought the house down!!! Probably a first for dancing in the aisles at the RiverPark!!! And their acoustic encore at the end was awesome!!! Seats over 1500 and when they started playing without mics, just acoustics, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop...thank you NC!!!

I went to the concert in owensboro thursday to! it was my first concert of theirs and i absolutely loved it! im a bigger fan now and ive been finding out alot more about them from this website. i was going to buy Chris's cd on Sat. but B&N didn't have it! do you have any of sean's or chris's cds? :D

I just ordered Chris Thiles's CD Stealing Second from the Nickel Creek web site store....www.nickelcreek.com...then click on Store...you can order CD's and t-shirts, etc....did ya know he went to Murray State? You said you live in KY..where? I might be able to tell you where to buy the CD....it's $18 from their web store....

I live kind of near henderson. im going to try to get the cd from walmart or a cd store today, if i cant find it there then i'll get it from the site probably. how did you like Chris's Stealing Second cd? i was going to buy his new one not all who wander are lost. im looking at he site's store and he looks really different in the Stealing Second cover. i bought a t shirt and a sticker at the concert. are you from Ky to?

Since I ordered the CD Stealing Second from the web site I haven't received it yet...and I live in Owensboro...I should get it tomorrow or the next day. NCFan4Ever, thanks for the heads up on the Not All Who Wander Are Lost...I'll see if I can pick it up today at our local DiscJockey.

I just got Not All Who Wander Are Lost on tuesday!! i love it!!!!! :-)) :-))im listening to it all the time, so it's already replaced my lord of the rings soundtrack (until now i listened to it almost everyday). i wish he had some songs that he sang tho. my dad wants me to write songs now after going to the concert! :rolleyes: maybe. ;)

Yeah, I wish he sang some, too...oh well. I am still in love with the cd! Oh, and if you like LOTR, then you might be interested to know that Riddles in the Dark was inspired by that part in The Hobbit where Bilbo plays that game with Gollum when he first finds the ring....I thought that was pretty cool!

Darlin', out of curiosity, were you one of those girls that love Chris (the ones that yelled out 'we love you chris thile' at the concert). just wondering :)
