Hey can anyone tell me where Chris was born/raised? I know Sean and Sara are from CA, but I wasn't sure if Chris was from the same area...

he was born in CA too. then his family moved to kentucky (i forget exactly when) and now he lives in nashville as far as i know!

The band has asked us to be very low key about their personal lives, so I've removed and/or edited certain posts from this thread.

Keep in mind that Nickel Creek is a LOT bigger than they were a year ago, and a lot more people are reading these messages, so things that might have been known among 200 people a year ago may not be appropriate to share with tens of thousands of people interested in the band now.

No offense to anyone, and I know that no one intended to do anything wrong, we're just doing our best to comply with the band's wishes. Please feel free to email me (chip at nickelcreek dot info) if you have any questions or concerns.

Hey, no problem! It's not like *any* of the policies are even solid, it's usually a judgement call.

Matt and I are just doing our best to try and follow our best judgement about what the band would want, kinda like what you or I would want people talking about if we were in their shoes...

Well, I think you guys do an awesome job moderating the site...and I totally agree with the privacy policy....the LAST thing I want to do is say something that Nickel Creek wouldn't approve of me sayin! I just forgot totally about the privacy thing in this thread! but it won't happen again!
