I just hiked Upper Salt Creek in Canyonlands National Park, and in the hiker's journal by the pictograph, All American Man, was an entry that said that one of Nickel Creek's songs is about this trail, mentioning Kirk's cabin, maybe pre-Columbian Indian ruins and other things. Which song? I could not find it on any of the lyrics sites via Google. Thanks.

don't let the idea that song about something means lyrics, fool you. cause i actually have no idea myself what the book is talking about... but i suspect it might be an instrumental song.

Chris' frist album has a song called Salt Creek I think, but I'm not sure if it's traditional or original.

I was told by someone else that Salt Creek is a traditional instrumental song, without lyrics.
