Does anybody else love this album as much as I do? (It's Patty Loveless's new bluegrass album for those of you who don't know)

I bought that cd for my dad for father's day and got to listen to it. I love that album. She had a lot of peope helping with the songs, i think ricky scaggs helps play mandolin and travis tritt sings with her in one of the songs. i like all the songs, especially The boys are back in town. Great cd!!:)

Yeah, Ricky Skaggs also sings backup on Daniel Prayed and maybe a couple of others...I love his voice!

Wonderful album! It is so hard to pick a favorite. If you like the song You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive, Brad Paisley recently did a really well arranged, haunting version as well. I think they both do a great job with the song.

Oops...forgot to include that. Brad's version is on his album Part II. He is my favorite new country artist, I highly reccomend either of his albums to anyone.

i love brad paisley too. i have liked all the songs i've heard of his. i've been wanting to get his cd too.

I also like Brad Paisley. He is one of the few country artists I still enjoy. His music is more instrumental than most country music these days. In fact some of the songs he does are solely instrumental. His music is not as boring as most country is now. Plus, his lyrics are pretty amusing in some songs and very touching in others.

Agreed Anna. I don't mean to get off topic here, but if you ever get a chance to see him live-GO! He is one of the best guitar players and he does some great instrumental stuff live. There are a couple on his albums as well. I love his traditional sound.

I have Mountain Soul and litsen to it ALL the time. it really is a great c.d. I like it b/c it's got up-beat songs and a few slow songs. It's great bluegrass music...Keep it comin Patty!!

I got Mountain Soul a few weeks ago, and I love it! I especially like the upbeat ones (Rise Up Lazarus, Pretty Little Miss, Boys Are Back in Town).
