My New Nickel Creek Site

Hey Guys!!!

Well, I just wanted to let you guys know that for the past week or so I have been workin on my own little NC site!!!

It's not a lot right now but at least its something. i would like all of you to go take a look around if you would. its just starting and i hope to ne doin alot more here soon. if you have anything to add please send me an email from the site. thanks alot you guys and i hope that you like it.

I really like the site. Awsome job!:-)) I love how you did the backgrounds for each page. Very cool idea. The bios are something to be desired. Heehee. Anyways nice work. I'm looking forward to the progression of the page.:D

thanks alot. yeah the bios are the next thing on my list. its just taking a little while to get things together and try to find and compile things to actually make a bio section. HAHA but it will be there soon enough, well at least i hope so, lol

So far, so good. Awesome backgrounds and wallpapers!! WHERE did you get those photos?!?!? They're AWESOME!! I also like the autographs. The way Sara signs autographs is interesting...with the Seek Him on each one. Makes me love her even more (figuratively, of course).

Only one suggestion...make your page backgrounds static. I think it'd make the site look a lil' better when scrolling.

i don't know how to make that image stay like that. i could if i could use the html code for it. but since i used the page builder at geocities i can't use the advanced html options.

about that auto....chris thought it was a horrible pic so he framed his face and wrote bad on it.

Cool!! That static background is working great. However, everything else got screwed up somehow. All the text and stuff is overlapping for some reason. I don't think it's the static background thing...that's a pretty standard format.

And where'd ya get those photos? Are those a street team perk or something? I need to send my app back in.

i went and looked at the site and the text isn't overlapping at all. where did you see it doin that at??? i need to go check it again to make sure. i really appreciate you telling me about the back grounds. it does look a whole lot better.

as for the pics i got them from the sugar hill website. i don't have the link any more or i would give it you ya. i will try to find them again. all i know is that you have to search sugar hill for it.

I bet the text overlap is a browser issue. One of the wonderful things about HTML is that it never looks the same on any two computers, due to variables like what browser, what *version* of the browser, what kind of monitor and the resolution it's using, which fonts are or are not installed, etc.... it's enough to drive a web designer crazy, which is why I have so much respect for people like Matt and Erica, who designed this site (nickelcreek.info)

Old version of Netscape and IE before version 4 are notorious for text overlap and other weirdness, so it could be that, particularly if you're using layers.

Hey the site is awesome!!!!! But in my opinion the back ground, since its soooo light in most areas, it's really hard to read the lighter color fonts on some of the places. And some of the background pics are cut off but thats ok. I personally think its great that you are sooo dedicated to them and I sooooo envy you for being able to personally meet them and them much less remembering you! That is sooo cool. Knowing my luck the closest thing I'll ever get to seeing them is tv. lol More luck to ya and keep up the great job.

thanks alot!! yeah i have noticed that about the lighter fonts also, like i said i still have alot of work to do but i am trying my best. i think its looks good so far just a few little things here and there that need to be fixed.

Good point. I'm using IE version 6 with Windows 2000. I GeoCities won't let me load the page right now, so I can't try changing my resolution. Still, keep up the good work, nitejule. It'll get there.

And dittos about the nickelcreek.info site. That's one of the most attractive sites I've ever been to!!
