Ok, I watched this video and thought it was amazing. So I've showed it to a bunch of people and they thought it was cool too- everyone was very impressed. I figured it was just some kid who could really rock, but I was wrong. I just went to Yahoo! and theres this article about a kid who plays uke and has the highest debuting instrumental album ever in Japan. So I'm thinking wouldnt it be funny if its the same kid! So I click it and it is! Well, I'm pretty sure it is...looks just like him and his name is Jake. Jake Shimabukuro to be exact. Check it out!

I believe he will be playing a show with Mike Marshall in Lincoln, Nebraska coming up within the year. I'm lucky to live 45 minutes away in Omaha, and you can bet that now I will for sure be attending.

I have heard Jake play before and... Yes, Virginia - that is a uke he is playing! Unreal isn't he? Should we say here that Jake is the Chris Thile of the uke?? He gets my vote!

Insane.

Chris Thile should most definetly play a variation of that. It would sound amazing!
