i just read Sean's new journal entry and he said that he's excited about filming the video for the first single for This Side and he said it will be soon!! does anyone have any more info about this?

[think har I would like to know more about their video myself. I wonder if it will be filmed in California? It will be fun to see the new video. I wonder what song it will be? Enquiring minds want to know!!!

Since This Side will be the first single from the record, that's probably what the video will be as well.

I've got a great live recording of This Side but it's almost 2 years old, so I'm guessing that the version on the CD has probably evolved a bit... but hey, we're little more than a month away now, so I can hang on :)

it's the same team doing it as did the lighthouse tale and they are filming it today, tuesday and wed in a 'secret' location.

chip i have a newer live version of this side and it does sound different from the one i think your talking about... is it the one from frieght and salvage? i like that one is a lot better than the newer version.

i'm just really looking forward to hearing a song from the new album in its entirety!! i just hope they go back to playing NCs videos alot of tv....they seem to have cut back alot!!

I read at CMT.com that the video is being shot this week in Los Angeles.

I hope it's a unique video. I mean, Reason's Why, When You Come Back Down, and Lighthouse Tale is like one long extended video-they all look the same!

Well.... it can be anywhere from a week to months, depending on timing and scheduing... but my guess is that they're probably aiming to have this one ready to go not too long after the album is released.

I've heard of cases where a song suddenly goes hot unexpectedly, the band is rushed to a location to do a video, the editors work all night, and the video is delivered to MTV something like 72 hours after it's shot, but that's not a usual occurrence.

i think that they will release the video before the release of the album, so the new album gets a little promo done.

i know what you mean i don't like having to wait either for his album or the new album!! its a pain but we have to do it. i wonder if sugar hill will do the samples with seans album?

I saw Sean last night, and I heard him say that they filmed the video in a studio in L.A. I am not sure what the video will be like. I think the video will be out a few weeks before the album comes out so they can hype it up. It should be on t.v. in a few weeks. I can't wait to see it.[shock]

i think that it would be a good thing to do. that would get more people to listen to his music and make them want to hear more and have to wait for his album as well. man seems like we are all doin alot of waitin

Yeah, I saw a picture from the video shoot from the Sugar Hill Street Team-- It looks to me like the video was shot in a club and there's a lot of girls in the audience. I don't know about you guys but I liked it better when their videos didn't have anyone else in them but just Nickel Creek. I have their new CD and it's absolutely incredible. It's so very different from their last album; it's a huge step for them. This will definitely appeal to a larger audience.
