i like sean singing solo. and i also like sean and chris singing together on this side. and i like chris and sara singing together on reasons why. when it comes to instruments i think sean and sara sound awesome together. i love the birth and orange autumn days.

i think that they are all awesome, plus they all sound great solo. thats one of the things that got me into nickel creek was their harmonies. they just mesh very well and have a wonderful sound.

I'm not trying to start a debate club here, just trying to get people to voice their opinions. Yes we all love each individual sound as well as altogether. Come on! These are nothing but thought questions looking for honest answers.

I personally like sara's violin sound and seans voice.

I like all of their emotion that is portrayed through their music, I like Sara's sweet voice, Chris's unique and fascinating way of writing...But most of all I like the way Sean can put things into music, like January Second, The Birth (my fave on his solo ) These Autumn Orange days and Pasture's New..It's like by listening to the songs/instrumentals you can actually visualize what he is playing, it's great!!!!
I love them all, My best wishes to Chris and his fiance, also....

Thank you *Jocelyn*. Thats what I'm asking for. Not really to pick favorites. But what certian charateristics do you like best about this person. Not to single anyone out just to bring out the good qualities for those who have loved them from the beginning and the newbies that are learing. This in no way should be taken negatively but to bring out the good.

I agree Chris cracks me up on stage. Has he ever fallen off before?

Back to the topic at hand...I like Sara's voice best on the slow, haunting songs, Chris's best on the upbeat ones, and well, I haven't heard Sean sing too much but I definately LOVE his voice on anything!

i saw chris mess up on when you come back down, the acoustic at one of my shows, he just started laughing and sara had to start singin it so he would know where he was at, since he was laughin so much!!

I love all three of them equally of course, but I love sara's violin and her sweet voice. I love Chris's fast playing and I think his voice is really smooth hwen he sings-he has an amazing voice. I love to hear Sean sing (maybe because it's a rare treat?)-and I love his guitar playing. A lot of people play guitar but Sean reveals his soul through his. He can really bring out emotion.
His song January 2-when I 1st heard it, I thought -yeah this is waht Jan 2 feels like-hahha-I don't know if it was some special date for him or what but I think every Jan 2 feels like that song!
