I recently got the new nickel creek album because my uncle is a producer at sugar hill. The album is awesome I cant wait until it comes out everyone is going to love it!

I got a promo copy at work, and listened to it all day. I had to leave it there, but I agree it is awesome. I burned it onto my harddrive so I can listen whenever I want at work. Only one instrumental, and the rest have great lyrics, and the harmonies are sweet. I think this one will be another huge hit for NC.[noise]

I was at my desk at work when a co-worker stopped by and told me he had the new Nickel Creek, he handed it to me later that day. I listened all day, then posted a few comments here. I am still listening, and am still amazed. My only problem is trying to describe the songs. this album is different from the last, but is hard to categorize. The band is definitely maturing in abilities, both on the songwriting and playing fronts.

Since I just got a promo, I don't know who is playing with Chris, Sean and Sara, but there is some hot electric guitar, and amazing bass playing. I really like Spit on a Stranger and Beauty and the Mess, and the Smoothie Song is better than I remember from when I saw them in February.

I want to see the album liner notes, but I will settle for talking with Derek Jones next week in Nashville, to find out who all played on this awesome CD.
