Chris says in the Amazon interview that a section of Itzinay became Helena because, according to him, nobody liked Itzinay but the band, so it was on the list of songs that probably wouldn't make it on the album until their producer suggested writing a new song around a section of it.
I will have to re-listed to Itzinay now because I didn't get that.

Did he say nobody or did he say Eric Valentine didn't like it?
I think there's life in the old zit yet.

At least Itzinay is something you can see live :) so it's not a total loss (thank goodness! :o )
Sooo sad. I loved it [sob]
But yes, hooray for live recordings!

He made it sound like they thought that the band was the only one who liked it - that it was much more fun to play than to listen to, he thought. Which surprises me since they'd been playing it at concerts for awhile, right? I thought people here seemed to enjoy it!

Maybe it has something to do with the live preformance aura? Kinda like it's more fun to watch then just listen to? I don't know, haven't seen/heard it so...
