View Full Version : Why isn't NC anywhere close to where I live????(Arkansas)

I love Nickel Creek but everytime they get near this area I have another commitment to attend to. This time they are not even in Arkansas! This makes me very sad. Are there any other sad Arkansans out there?[sob]

Actually if I didnt know anything about Arkansas I probably wouldnt but an knowledgeable person in geography would know that Arkansas is a beautiful and intriguing state:) Okay.. maybe not that intriguing but I love it anyway!

Hang in there as the tour dates will be announced really soon for the fall to promote the new CD. Hopefully they will be somewhere near you.

The tour dates were announced and the closest was Tulsa- which is over 150 miles from here and maybe even farther!

I'm in your boat! Nothing within six hours (Nashville), so I don't know what to do. I was hoping on a Memphis show or the college circuit.

Ok, and yes I'll stop whining about that :o . I AM super thrilled to have the big day coming, I was just hoping maybe possibly, somehow it'd be a date I could make. But alas.

Here's to a summer/fall tour 06 that we can all make it to ;)

I wonder why they didnt include many small towns in their tour?

They probably wanted to hit as many major markets as possible to promote the new CD and hopefully encourage some airplay. They will eventually get around to the college towns as they enjoy playing in those places. Don't worry as they tend to tour extensively with each release.

I love NC too! I was fortunate enough to have them come to Kalamazoo, Michigan once.... there is only one on the otherside of the state which unfortunately I can't go to.... I am sad too.. but hopefully they will come bless us with their music again :) ... and hopefully you will get the oppurtunity to hear them live as well...
