I didn't see anyone mention it here, but there is a huge list of new tour dates on the Nickel Creek tour page. I'm not sure how long ago these were added, but the list takes us through most of the rest of the year. Our local House of Blues will be hosting the show near me.

I know, when I got the e-mail I was overly ecstatic (running, jumping, screaming fan-girl style etc.)
they're coming to my town....

Leona Naess is an opening act! Darn it...not during my show. But she is so awesome! She has been on several soundtracks and previews for shows and such. Gilmore Girls, The Prince and Me, Dawson's Creek. etc.
And the best song ever by her is on the preview to the movie that wins the worst movie with the best preview award: Head Over Heels with Freddie Prinze Jr. The song is call Charm Attack. It is so good!

Wow, that's a nice list there. Sadly, all the dates in my area are all during the week and 4+ hours drive. So unless they play here in Shreveport again, then no NC for me. *crosses fingers* [sosad]

Niiiice, Nickel Creek comes to Spokane AFTER I move!!! lol I swear, the band doesn't love me anymore (okay maybe they never loved me in the first place, but I can pretend!) :)
Oh well, my new plan is to make the 5 hour trek to Minneapolis and spend a couple of days out there and see the band play...yay...I just have to make some good tips tonight so I can make some $$$ to pay for the trip :)

October 21, see you there Jimmie; I can't wait. I've... never been to the new HoB either. Kinda excited. No, wait, actually I'm like seriously ecstatic-ly wound up for that concert.
Nickel Creek and a major headlining tour? My little babies... [splat]

I haven't been there yet, either. I know people at most of the major clubs, but I don't have any contacts at HoB. I'm working on it, though.
How far east of Cleveland are you? I'm out in the Chagrin Falls area.
