I've got my copy too, I didn't realise it was coming out so early, a nice surprise!!
a very nice surprise :) even the card case is a work of art+great photos.. I only wish I hadn't pigged out on the little preview clips before finally getting the whole thing.

Has everyone who pre orderend got limited edition cd's? I'm just curious, as wasn't expecting that. Cd's cool, a little different, however i love 'Jealous of the moon' and 'Anthony' :)

The autographed copies that arrived here from Sugar Hill are identical (other than the autographs) to the airplay copy that I got a few weeks back. What is it about your CD that makes it different?

well i am perplexed... the NC store on the site has no record of my purchase listed even though i have an order number and a confirmation e-mail... i surely i hope i get mine today. not that i am not gonna go out and buy one at Borders just because i must. but i wanted my sticker and things soon as well so i could finally be caught up to everyone. :(

Now that I've looked closely, I see that our copies also have that limited edition indicator. However, based on the numbering, I'd have to say that it's not very exclusive. The copy here has number 281,771. Should I take that to mean that they've created more than a quarter million of this limited edition?

Interestingly, it's not the autographed cover that carries this number, it's the plain shrinkwrapped copy that accompanied it. So perhaps the unmarked covers are actually the rare ones!

Has anyone bought a copy at a local store to see if this numbering is on all of them?

If you guys hadn't called this to my attention, I probably never would have noticed it. It's not very visible.

So, yesterday I read an email from last Friday from musictoday.com (whom I pre-ordered from) stating that it was shipped last friday (5th) and I should receive it in 7-10 business days.
This morning my roommate goes downstairs right before we're about to leave for work and I see a bubble/shrink wrapped package with my name on it. Needless to say I had a very enjoyable ride into work this morning. I'll have to have lunch in my car today!!! [noise]
I'll also have to check on the Limited Edition thing and get back to you.
I'll also throw in that I got a nifty little sticker with the CD as well.
So, if you ordered from musictoday.com, like I did, there is definitely hope for you.
By the way, I have When In Rome and Somebody More Like You stuck in my head right now, but I can't listen to it because I'm at work now!!! Its like an itch on your back that you just can't reach!!!!

I got it at Target this morning and I also noticed the limited edition marking on the back. Next to mine it says 415,537. I guess they're expecting to sell lots of CD's if that's how many limited editions there are.;) :rolleyes:

The CD case and art are very good. Never seen one with quite the same design, and it's very classy/accesible/beautiful/amazing...ok I'm getting carried away.

I really like Somebody More Like You, Jealous of the Moon, and Doubting Thomas.

Gee, It doesn't seem fair that as a true fan, I Pre-ordered this CD 2 months ago and haven't yet received it, while any schmuck can go to Target and get it before me. Most labels do a pre-order campaign to coincide with the store release, meaning that the CD's are mailed early so that they are received by purchasers on the release date. NOT 7-10 DAYS LATER. SHAME ON SUGAR HILL!

I got it yesterday (Monday), which was earlier than they indicated at amazon.com (said it would be mailed on the release date). Then the email came Saturday saying it was in the mail and sho-nough - there it was.

I got mine yesterday morning. UPS delivered it. I had to make sure someone in my family got it up off of the porch. It wasn't wrapped very well and it was raining that day! But it is fine!

Whew - mine finally showed up today - so now i have two as i couldnt leave the show last night wihtout a autographed copy :-) Bliss - - > right now, Somebody More Like You, is leading my list as best tune on the disc. Hey i think I'll send copy #2 to the person who makes me feel exactly like that tune !@#$%^%^

last nights limited edition is in the 300,000's and the one that just came in the mail is 224,803 - - - so it looks like a GOLD limited edition he-he and they'll just have to work hard to hit platinum !

I FINALLY GOT IT!

Darn parents wouldn't go to town yesterday so I couldn't get it, but I got it ... only thing was I didn't bring my CD player along ... :( ... so I had to wait until we got home to listen to it :grumpy: anyways, listening to it RIGHT NOW, and loving everything I hear.

BTW - At Walmart they had new releases right? Well I took a bunch of copies of NC and put them in front of other new releases HAHAHA!!!! And I also made it play NC ... on their TV thing ... heheh ...
