Hi there, my first post! I've not been able to find any information regarding the new album's release date in the UK or Europe? Is August 9th a worldwide release - as records get released on Mondays in the UK.
Also, is there any radio coverage lined up in the UK? Bob Harris New Country show on BBC R2 was responsible for me originally finding out about NC. I think he holds the band in high regard, so maybe they're gonna pay him a visit.
Can't wait for the announcement of UK/Europe shows as I've never seen them live. Missed the London Scala show in March 2003 as I didn't get a ticket in good time. What a silly fool!

Excellent. Thank you.
A gig in London, and the record is released today, how good is that. You know whether it will be available on the iTunes UK Music Store or am I going to have to go into town and buy it for real!
When was the London show announced?
Sorry, so many questions.

The show's not been officially 'announced', but tickets went on sale at the end of July.
I don't know about it being released on iTunes UK, Sugar Hill don't have the international digital rights, but am trying to find out at the moment. If anyone else knows, know would be a good time to say...
Pop over to the message board - it is generally more up to date than the site - and there's information about what radio appearances they're making.

Though it might not have been 'officially' realeased over here (ie the UK) WSTFD is available from places like amazon.co.uk and play.com if it doesn't appear on iTunes and it's very reasonably priced (usually about £9.99).

The 8th August was the official release. Even Woolies should have it on sale now (in theory).

Then why haven't we got it yet? *sniff*
Flipping heck, if I'd known it was going to take this long I'd have just bought it at the Trafford Centre tonight. Darn, foiled again!
And it'd be the first decent CD Woolies had sold in a while...

Is it really supposed to be available in Woolies? I've only seen previuos stuff in the specialist sections of larger HMV and Virgin stores, plus indie specialist shops, obviously.

Proper (the distributors) get the records to HMV, Virgin, MVC, Borders, Fopp and other indie shops (possibly not Woolies).
You can check their partner-store locator here: http://www.properdistribution.com/proper-partner-scheme/store-finder.php
