A friend I work with recommended Largo months, apparently it is a pretty hapening club here and it seems to have a great rep with the locals. Imagine my surprise when I saw Sean and Sara are performing there Thursday night with David Garza (David is an awesome musician as well, I am sure it will be one of the best shows I've seen in awhile) Is anyone else going to be there?

Glen Phillips is performing there the night before, wish I could go, but since I am skipping class on Thursday night, I shoud probably be there Wednesday.

Hope to meet some of you there!

:D Thanks for telling me about Largos. I would love to go see Sean and Sarah. The only thing is that I am 20 years old. If it is a night club, I am probably not old enough to go. Do you know what time they will be playing?

FINALLY!!! :) NC is in the So Cal area!! I just saw that they were going to be at Largo this thursday and i'm SOOO gonna be there!! I unfortunately missed them at the beginning of june when they were there with Glen. But i wont this time! I was hoping for them to be doing some more LA shows. I know its only 2/3's of the trio but it will still be a blast. I luckily have both thursday and friday off so i'm going to BOTH shows. I'm so excited I can't wait. Ok that's enough of my babbling...bye !

As far as I know Largo is all ages. Hope to see you both there. I don't know what time the show is yet. I know that the cover is $10 ad there is street parking on a popular part of Fairfax.

Keep in mind that it's Sara and Sean, NOT Nickel Creek. Their solo show is obviously different from the NC show... just trying to clarify in case anyone is confused.

Wow! :D I don't know what to say other than that. Sara and Sean were grrrrreat. They did an old Creek tune and some stuff off the new album. I really liked the new song Seven Wonders. Sara's voice was so beautiful live!! Sean sang, too...he really should do that more often, he has a very nice voice. They played a couple of songs with David Garza including Reasons Why with David playing for that other kid that pretends to play the mandolin. :-) When David got up to do his set (what a talent!) They joined him for a few more. It was really a good show.

I met up with Jillian and Jennifer, who I met via the boards and it was really great hanging out. I hope we can do it again soon. party

It was my first time to meet Sara and Sean. I was really nervous about approaching them but they were really nice to us and signed stuff and took pictures.

Hi Crystal!!! I am still walking on air today. Sean was so nice and personable. He was so easy to talk too. And his voice is like butter!!! Sarah also sounded really great. I think this was my favorite concert ever because it was so intimate. Like I said, I have a permanent smile on my face. Thanks to Sean and Sarah for serenading us at Largos[noise]
