Hi, and sorry to make another post about Nickel Creek on Leno, but just wondering if anyone recorded it and have made it or seen it available for download (as like an .mpg or .avi or .wmv etc) cause I really really want to see it. I've seen some fans put Ben Folds' late night talk show performances online so thought maybe Nickel Creek fans are at least as rabid as they are. [eek!!] thanks guys.

Screen caps would be lovely if they're floating around in the ether as well.

I put the 8/9/05 Leno appearance on my website for you to download. It's a really big file (169 MB), so it'll take a while. If anybody knows how to shrink the file and repost it, please do. Right click on the link below and select Save Target As...

Enjoy!

I can never play .avi on my computer - what program do you have to run them on?

Thanks guys - I have WMP but not divx (I haven't heard of it before). I'll download the performance and see what happens...thanks maryum for doing all the technical stuff :)

Yay - my computer agreed to play it in the end! I was also loving the close-ups of Chris' eyes - they really seem to draw you in, don't they? I agree that they looked kind of sick. Sara looked like she was having a hard time hanging onto notes, poor thing. Can't wait to see them live in September!

For anyone who hasn't seen NC play before, or even for those who haven't seen them recently DO NOT take this performance as an indication of their abilities. They've been working themselves pretty hard of late and really where not themselves on this show - both sara, and i think chris have been ill and trust me... not only can sara hang on to a note, but chris certainly doesn't ever sing like he did in this performance. Its just sad that at a point of pretty high exposure, they weren't done justice. rant over
