View Full Version : "Nickel Creek" approaching platinum

In Monday's L.A. Times there was a little box about this week's upcoming releases (as it usually appears on Mondays) and they mentioned WSTFD. The little box (which also this week featured Staind) has two columns, where sales figures for Last Album and Biggest Seller appear. The numbers (which I would assume are very recent) are:

Last Album: This Side 586,000 sold
Biggets Seller: Nickel Creek 944,000 sold


I figure as some new people get exposed with the release of WSTFD, Nickel Creek will turn platinum by the end of the year.

I can't believe This Side sold so much less than their first album! I realized the first one HAS been out for a few years longer, but I would have thought the numbers closer.
