question to new members [of the last week]

I have had several people report problems signing up.. I am trying to pinpoint the problem.. did sign up and login go smoothly for you? or is it making a mess for everybody

My name is Steven and I joined today, august 12. It did not go smooth, but in the end it all worked out. What was the cost, a half hour of my life. Not bad when you think about the riches I shall now enjoy, eh?

I signed up on the 9th or 10th. It went smoothly for me.

I signed up on the 13th or 14th and everthing was fine.

ok.. i am assuming the cases I had were all bumps and exceptions then.. I couldn't find any big thing wrong in code and settings after looking.. and it is not the majority of people at all.

I logged onto the site (8/12) when my particular venue was going on sale. I had no idea that pre-sale started that day but logged on late at night. When I clicked the link to buy tickets, the page refreshed to the original page. I kept trying and trying and trying. I even tried on locations other than mine - same thing.

I got smart and logged onto the message board (went through the process of becoming a member) and searched for posts regarding problems with getting pre-sale tickets. I was in luck and found a post. I don't know if you were the one who posted the actual link, but that's what I did. Success; although, I found out that my particular venue was only selling general admission. Not too thrilled about GA, as I've had problems with past concerts. If it was up to me, I'd be there early and be right in front of them watching them shred; although, I don't think the Mrs. will dig standing for 2+ hours for the show. I'm still working on it......
