Don't know if anyone posted this or not, but Nickel Creek is on the cover of the September-October 2005 No Depression magazine. :D Haven't had a chance to read through the whole article yet but there are some nice pictures.

Most Barnes and Noble's and Borders carry the magazine. It always has great interviews and reviews.

Yeah, you should be able to find it at Barnes & Noble. Never seen it anywhere else though...I have a subscription.

And that's odd, Nancy...I'd think if they're on the cover they'd have it online...

I just picked up the magazine last night and it was an amazing article. Great photos and a really long, detailed piece (it's gotta be 8 - 10 pages long).... I read it in a little coffee shop while listening to WSTFD on my ipod. If it's possible my love and respect for them has increased.

It's really worth seeking out the magazine. I've never read such a good article on them.

Really? Is it better than the PASTE article on them? Are there a lot of photos? I am going to have to get it. I wish they had it online. Does anyone know if they do?

I don't think it's online..... there are a lot of pics. One full page pic of each member of the band (one of the best of Sara I've ever seen) along with the cover photo and a few others throughout the article....
I haven't read the Paste article but N.Depression is a great read. I found it at Borders for the low low price of $4.95!

The No Depression article is longer and has more phtotos than Paste. I am in love with it

I got a copy at Borders yesterday as well, and had the great pleasure of reading it with some coffee :-D It's not as well written (my opinion of course) but does a better job in relating the band's love of music and how it has influenced other aspects of their lives in so many ways. You can definitely tell the writer spent some considerable time with the band.

Wow, Wow, WOW! Those the best photos I have ever seen of the band. Sara looks like a model in the picture! And Sean and Chris look great as well. It was so cool to see full pages photos of them and a magazine cover! I am not used to this much. It was kind of nice to go looking in the magazines and see Nickel Creek staring right back at you. I am in awe. It is like they are some sort of movie stars!

And the article was amazing. It really captures them perfectly. Their interaction, their love of music, their individuality. It was neat to read not so much what was said, but the description of how they interacted, how they sat, how they spoke. It really gave you more of a deeper insite into their personalities.

I love how they described Sean. Someone who's respect you want to earn. So cool.

Yeah I got it at Barnes and Nobles. You might also try Books A Million. They carry the largest selections of magazines I have ever seen.

I finally got my copy! I made my dad pick it up when he picked up my Nickel Creek Promo Poster I got from Borders. The article was amazing. Great pictures!!!!! I haven't finished all of the article yet, still have 1 or 2 pages. But it was fabulous :)

Could someone scan in the pics from the article? The one on the cover looks so cool and I can't get hold of the magazine over here in the UK (I so need to relocate!). I'll try to order it as a back issue but I'll have to wait til the next one comes out and then keep my fingers crossed that they have some left.

Barnes didn't have it when I checked yesterday. The lady said they only order 3 copies of that magazine each time there's a new one. Can you believe that? Does anyone have any idea where else I might be able to find it??? We don't have a borders here.
