Yeah, I noticed the lip-grimace sorta thing too. It is really funny looking--very cute. It's like he is concentrating very hard on what he is playing and that is his little tic, if you will. At the beginning of the show he does it a lot, but towards the end he hardly does it at all. He also sorta stares at one point in the audience for a while. Like, its not an audience overview or taking everyone in with a long glance. He just gets oriented with one little area and its people, looks at his instrument, and then looks somewhere else. Okay, maybe that is normal. Probably I was just looking at him way too much. :D

i've noticed that sean does the thing with his lips and it made me sooooo happy! see when i play an instrument (mostly when i play my cello) i tend to push out my lips a little bit and i can't help it! so it gave me comfort to see that other people (especially since it's Sean) do stuff with their face when they play!!:)

Maybe I'm just crazy or maybe you've noticed but does anyone notice that sometimes Sean looks...I don't know ..hurt? when he's singing.??? It might be just me...or maybe it's just his shyness...he really looks hurt sometimes....hehe.....[think]

Hurt? I haven't noticed that one yet. I'll keep stairing to find out. Sometimes when I play I get soo lost in my music that the world around me becomes oblivious to me. (i hope i spelled that right) I wonder if that' s what sara does?

Awww isnt he cute:rolleyes: !!!!!!It may not be the 'best' pic of him but still..... See what I'm talking about. Even when hes not 'playing' he still does it. I think its cute.

Have you also noticed that during interviews, Chris always interrupts Sara?

 Wow! I'm not the only one who pays way to much attention to Sean. I think some of you do even more than I do though, which is kinda scary. hee, hee ;)

I think all his facial expressions are cute and sometimes I wonder what he must be thinking by some of them too. Thanks for showing everyone that picture, nitejule! I always thought it was pretty funny myself.

About the guys inturrupting Sara, I always thought Sean was the one who tended to get interrupted the most. For example, when they were on Face the Music on CMT he was trying to tell about the part where they were running across the street but all he could get out at first was something like and the......yeah because Sara kept interrupting him. I don't think they are really rude to each other or anything; I think it is just that they have known each other for so long and get caught up in trying to get a point across. I know my friends and I do that a lot when we are talking.

That picture cracks me up-I am like laughing out loud and people in surrounding cubicles are probable thinking I've lost it!
He looks angry or like a little boy who didn't get his way.
He's a adorable though-hmm, maybe that's not a good word. guys tell me they don't like to be called cute

Have you noticed how no guys have posted on this string yet? haha-they're probbaly rolling their eyes. If it was Sara, though, they'd be on it.

lol! I think it's an awesome pic though...:D

I think that pic is pretty funny too.
to give credit where credit is due, my friend Denis Fogo took that picture.
it's funny what people's faces do when they're concentrating. Bela fleck get's a slightly pained look, and I think Chris looks a tad melancholy and wistful at times.

Hey I found something on Sara! Have you noticed that she pulls away from the mic when she has a long note to sing... Yay I'm done now... Sean does the lip thing, Chris bounces almost jumps off the stage, and Sara pulls away from the mic.

yeah i noticed that too, i think that one of the reasons why she does that is so that she doesn't overpower chris or sean when she sings the longer backgroud vocals. but i have def noticed that.

I also think that its Sean always getting interupted. I think that Chris always tries to get attention and that maybe being called one of the best mandolin players has kinda gone to his head. lol

Isn't this pic of Sean just so cute?

NCFan4Ever

yes that pic is awesome!

I don't think that Chris intentionally interrupts or that being the best has gone to his head....I think that that's just his really ourgoing personality. Personally, I haven't noticed that he interrupts too much at all.

Yeah you're probably right. I guess I just thought that because Chris always out-talks Sean (because he's usually the one I'm paying more attention too ) :)

if you think about it they all really interrupt each other!!!

NCFan4Ever
08-12-2002, 04:13 PM
yeah, i mean, they know each other so well that they can probably finish each other's sentences by now!
