different!?

is it just me or do they sound really different in there new cd then they do in their 3rd cd?

the first cd i ever got by them was WHY SHOULD THE FIRE DIE?
and i loved it, so today i got there 1st cd (im still gonna get the 2nd cd) and is it just me, or do they sound like completly differnt people? there voice, lyrics. they sound so much better and more mature now.


(dont get me wrong, i still love their 1st cd, but they just sound SOOOOOOOOO much different. i think there 3rd cd is better though.)

7 years, listening to tons of music out side your area, and growing up a lot will do that to a band ....

Physical growth comes into play as well. They're more than five years older on WSTFD than they were on the first Sugar Hill CD. Two of them were still in their teens on that first record.

Well i thought that too at first. It did sound really dark and it didn't sound like Nickel Creek at all, but the more i listened to it the more i could see that it actually did sound like nickel creek. I mean even though some songs are kind of harsh and you can't believe that they would write something like that it balances the whole album out. Like Nickel Creek said. It really isn't that harsh it's actually quite great.
