20-(2nd encore) When You Come Back Down
We were treated to ten songs from the new FIRE album, a 50% rate of the total music played. However the band gave us more than our share of classics, as I had really wanted to hear When You Come Back Down again. The classics such as This Side and Lighthouse also had a very distinct sound as at least two of the band members are very sick and also they were experimenting on the spot with some of the harmonies like only this band can. Chris Thile also played stumptown with an air of desparado as its inspiration, an Oregon coffeehouse, was banned by his throat doctor.
