I am, it'll be my first Creek show and I'm pretty excited.
Anyone know if they are allowing cameras? It says nothing about them on the tickets nor the Ovens website.

Bring your camera, but don't use your flash.

even though I didn't use a flash, a woman taped me on the shoulder and said no photos.
There were a lot of people taking pictures with flashes, and it made me pretty mad...but I snuck in some more pictures. They aren't great because I didn't use a flash, but hey it was worth it.
I had an awesome time!

I just got back from the Ovens concert. I was splendid as always. Sara had the cutest outfit. Sean looked great. Chris looked like he was doing better too. The only thing I was disapointed in was there was no stomping during When In Rome. :( The stomping is one of the best parts. And there was no Doutbing Thomas. I realy would have loved to have heard that one. But O'Well the music was super.
After the show we went back to the stage door. Both Sara and Sean came out. I got sigs from both, and even talked to Sean about his new album coming out in about six weeks on the website. Sara was great as always, there was alittle girl who said she just started to take violin lessons. Sara encouaged her and even wrote down music for her to listen to. bluegrass is all in the listening Then to top it all of, we were leaving after everyone else had gone, and one of the stage managers came and asked us if we wanted a tour back stage. And of course we said yes. NC had left already but we got to see their dressing room and stuff. It was very neat. (we saw someone had Dean and Deluca's for dinner( a very unimportant fact)) The stage manager was very nice too, he walked us to our car and made sure we were safe.
What an evening !

I seen ya'll standing out there, but I couldn't stay...but I wish I could have. My aunt wanted to get out of there and get home because she just found out her dog is diabetic and has to have her attention at all times! It's very crazy, but I really wish I would have stayed. Can't wait till next time though!
elbereth were you close to the stage?

Our tickets were row O so we were kinda close, but not realy. During the encore we got pretty close to the stage. The encore is the best part, except that you know it is almost over.

My seats were in CC, not the best but i managed to make it all the way to the stage for the encore. Stuck around and got both Sean and Sara to sign my CD case. Another great show!
Elbereth - I was right behind you when you were talking to Sean about his new CD, he signed my CD right after that.

They have been rotating the songs from the new CD. When I saw them in Boston, they didn't do Anthony or Can't Complain.

No I don't think they did. They did play Can't Complain, which is similar to Helena. Remember Chris introduced Can't Complain by saying this song was not about him, that he wrote it about somebody elses relationship.
