Sorry, this may be old news, but I've just come across this superb article (http://www.jambase.com/headsup.asp?storyID=7300) on Chris which mentions plans for his next project. He wants to record with Greg Garrison, Gabe Witcher, Noam Pikelny and Chris Eldridge. Now, I must admit I've only heard of Gabe in that list. Anybody know what kind of recording such a group would potentially produce? Would it be a modern, NAWWAL feel or more traditional? Or something completely different? I'm counting down the days already :D

At some point I'd love to see him do a duet album with Bryan Sutton along the same lines as Into The Cauldron. Chris and Bryan are probably my two favourite musicians and they've produced magic when they've played together in the past.

There is a thread about it in the articles and reviews section.

I think the next Chris release is likely to be the live album he did with Mike Marshall. It is mentioned in the discography of Mike's new instructional books and *presumably* will be out prior to or to coincide with their tour in January.

Oink,
CT and Bryan Sutton would be amazing. I could listen to Mark O'Connor 30 yr Retrospect 1,000x over and never get sick of it. They play so well with each other, sometimes I wonder if they're not reading each others minds what the next person will play next or mysteriously separated from birth. :D

I think he is insane. Just getting done with a LONG tour, then going on a crazy-busy but realtively short one. We knew he was crazy alrealy but this really shows his dedication. I am so excited he is coming to Charlotte!
