Zepplin is in the top 10 of best bands of all time, I give you that. However, Beach Boys and Beatles are probably #1 & #2 (not necessarily in that order). And don't forget Pink Floyd (one of my own top 3).

I love all of those bands. And I don't deny them their credit. My signature means that Zeppelin is my favorite band and since they aren't around anymore, all we have left is Zeppelin cover bands!! Nickel Creek comes in 3rd because this is a Nickel Creek board and I am expressing my likeness of the band Nickel Creek. If I said Nickel Creek is the best band ever, would you have the same response?? I don't think so. SO yeah just know that its a joke.

And, by the way, you forgot the Eagles [think har and don't forget to rent Spinal Tap.

the reason is [and is written on the sign up] certian names are not allowed so we don't get 50 million creek forms. it is to force creativity and help people sitck out rather than all blend together.

LOL Gotcha. Well actually I looked at the list of members before I signed up and didnt see anyone with Creek in their name. So I thought Hey I CAN be original! I guess I didn't put two and two together. Silly me.

That's ok, i like Red Zep. Almost like Led Zep and im not kidding, I totally didn't plan that. It was spur of the moment: I have RED hair and I like ZEPpelin. Funny.

I wasn't commenting on your joke, but on your opinion that Zepplin is #1. Or, is that the joke, and you really couldn't care less about them? As far as whether I would respond the same if you said NC was #1, the answer is 'no.' Why? Because there's too many mindless drones on this board who say that every day, and I ignore them out of pure disgust for their lack of ability to think critically in any way. :D

NC is in MY top 3, but I would never put them that high in a true 'All Time Best Band Ever' list. They just haven't been around enough to warrant that type of legacy.

OK I'm confused. All of the bands listed in this here thread are amazing. And they are in my top __ bands of all time. Zeppelin gets the edge over nickel creek because they are older, legends, a band who's career ended with a tragic death, not with ty music near the end of their career. they didnt fade out. we shall see what happens with nickel creek. then ask me again. lol
