I don't think that they have and I'm really surprised since they are all from here, and that Sean and Sara still live here. I have been following them since Reasons Why came out and don't remember ever hearing of them coming here. I just hope that when they do, it's in a small venue.
I shouldn't really be complaining. It was a dream come true seeing Sara and Sean in a tiny place, but still I would like to see all 3 of them.:)

Marianne We, too, have been fans since Reason Why appeared on CMT...but I don't remember ever reading that they would be in San Diego in concert Could be....maybe down at the Coors Auditorium? No, I don't think so.
I check the paper's Night and Day section every Thursday to be sure we don't miss one of their little venue appearances....like the one at Dizzy's. I check their tour schedule and every so often there's a 2 week hiatus and we figure they'll be home. And when they're home they often do Dizzy type shows. At least S and S do.
I hope Chip is right and as they gain fame, they'll be booked in different cities. Like....I would think LA and SD would turn out a tremendous crowd.

I figured that they hadn't. I know I would have known about it because I always check their tour schedule on their official site.
When I spoke to Sean the other night, he seemed pretty adament that they were going to due a show here in September. I sure hope so. I think he said around the 28th or 29th. I just don't know what venue. I always thought Humphrey's might be nice, but they don't allow cameras, and I'd die of I couldn't take pictures.
See Ya,

Marianne I'd rather have Humphrey's than Coors. Coors is so big....and I am so blind and deaf.... I have a hunch when they do do a concert here it will have to be someplace big. My daughter thnks maybe the Convention Center? Or the Sports Arena?

I honestly hope it's not the sports arena. Unless you're are in the first few rows, it's really not that great. I saw the Backstreet Boys there(don't laugh), and it was good, but rather dark. I prefer being more up close and personal, especailly with Nickel Creek's sort of music.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Marianne I've only been to the Sports Arena once....a hundred years ago when I took my children to see the Ice Capades.
Backstreet Boys? Believe it or not....I know who they are! We have a teenager in this house. She likes one boy in that group, blonde. Cute guy.
Anyway....back on topic: I fear NC won't be doing too many up close and personal concerts anymore. You and I are lucky to live where we do and have occasional opportunities to see them at Dizzy's when 2/3 of them are home.

Some San Diego area Trivia for you, Marianne--did you know that the theater that is shown in the Reasons Why video is the La Paloma theater in Encinitas (North County coastal area)? That's a lovely small old theater and the band played there a few times in recent years.

Wow. I didn't know that. I cannot believe that they've played here a few times and I never knew about it. [sob] I think I'll check that theater out sometime. It would be cool to be actually inside where they shot the RW video.
Thanks for that info.
Marianne:)
