Hey, I believe we are all aware, that there are basically stupid laws out there. I have a few, and I was curious if you knew any. I know for a fact, Virginia has a million.

To start off, In the city of richmond, It is illegal to flip a coin to see who pays for a cup of coffee.

In Washington D.C. it is illegal to hang your laundry in a parking space.

Unkown city in Va. It is illegal for a female to drive down main street unless her husband is in front waiving a red flag.

(these are still laws on the books, but most are not enforced)

Somewhere (I don't remember where but I know it's true), it is illegal to carry a gun in a brown paper bag. Why anyone would want to?

In Maine. Its illegal to deny a job to a Homosexual.


In Mass. It's illegal to own strike-anywhere matches.

Yeah, Maine is kinda weird, apparently, you can marry your sibling but not get intimate with your sibling.

I know that there is a city in Illinois where you can't park a pick-up truck in your own driveway.

In Lexington, Ky, there is a really old law that says it is illegal to walk down a public street with an ice cream cone in your back pocket. The theory is that the ice cream cone would tempt someone's horse and it would be a good way to steal that horse.

Somewhere (can't remember where, but it's either in the states or Canada) it's illegal to tie a giraffe to a telephone pole.
