Hi you guys!! Well, I have been reading the message board for quite awhile now and I finally decided to join you all. I have been a Nickel Creek fan for about 6 years now. I first heard of them on CMT or GAC (I get them mixed up...). And fell in love with their music immediately, I was completely mesmerized and did not want the song to end, ever. And the boys were not bad to look at either. ;) Soon after that I got the concert bug and looked them up.... It just so happened they would be appearing at the Bluegrass festival in Austin!!! I went and had a blast. They did some musical workshops, I don't play but it was fun to listen and watch them interact with the audience. Then the crowds appeared wanting autographs and pictures, of course I was one of them!! (I always made fun of those people and felt so bad for the musicians having to deal with them everywhere they went and then there I was right in the middle of it all.) I kept thinking to myself Wow! I am not two feet away from these people!! They were so down to Earth, it was great. Then it was concert time, they actually got to play twice that night! Another group of musicians called them up to the stage to play acoustic, it was beautiful. I have been obssessed ever since....

Haha!! :) I am sure I will say something stupid once or twice ;) and don't worry about laughing at me b/c I will for sure be laughing at you guys...

Quick question: are there others here that DO NOT play instruments, or am I on my own there? I love music, I just don't have any musical talent.
